Unarinköngäs

Unarinköngäs falls is situated along Meltausjoki river near the norther border of the municipality of Rovaniemi. In Unarinköngäs the river flows in the depth of 4-5 metres between steep rocky walls. It ends into foaming falls in front of the old log floating cottage. You can cross the foaming river by a strongly built suspension bridge from where the rocky benches are. In the surroundings you can find lean-to shelters and campfire sites. Map
